Frequently Asked Questions
Booking & prices
How does booking work?
Choose your condo and dates on our homepage and send a booking request. Your dates are held for 24 hours while the owner reviews it. Once approved, you pay securely by card through Square, and your stay is confirmed when your first payment is received.
When do I pay?
If your arrival is more than 90 days away, a $200 deposit (part of the rent) is due when your request is approved, and the balance is due 90 days before arrival. If your arrival is 90 days away or less, the full amount is due when approved.
Are there cleaning or booking fees?
No. You pay the nightly rate plus 12.75% North Carolina and Dare County sales and occupancy tax. There are no cleaning, service or booking-site fees when you book direct.
What is the cancellation policy?
Once a reservation is confirmed, payments are non-refundable if you cancel, except for the refunds North Carolina law requires, such as a mandatory evacuation. We strongly recommend travel insurance from an outside company. The full Vacation Rental Agreement is shown on the booking form.
Are summer stays Saturday to Saturday?
Yes. In summer, stays run Saturday to Saturday for 7, 14 or 21 nights. Outside summer, shorter stays are available; the calendar on our homepage shows the rules for each date.
How old does the renter need to be?
The person booking must be at least 18 years old and must stay at the condo for the whole reservation.
